OMG!Shanghai Shenhua Prepare £11m Bid for Chelsea's Loic Remy

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is the latest Premier League player being targeted for a move to China, according to the Mirror.
Remy, who remained at Stamford Bridge despite interest from Leicester City this winter, is a reported target for Shanghai Shenhua - the team that currently employs the Frenchman's predecessor Demba Ba.

Shenhua are apparently preparing an £11m bid for Remy and will offer half that in wages per season.

Chelsea, who sold Ramires to Super League side Jiangsu Suning last month, currently have four senior strikers on their books after landing Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato on loan from Corinthians.

With Diego Costa currently enjoying a rich vein of form and Radamel Falcao's loan deal unable to be terminated outside of the European window, Remy is the likeliest to depart before China's transfer deadline later this month.
Shenhua, who previously acquired Blues strikers Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka in 2012, are also said to be chasing Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Blue Devils signed Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin last month, while former Everton and Millwall midfielder Tim Cahill is currently on their books.

No country in the world has spent more money on transfers than China this winter, with Ramires, Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira among the biggest deals to go through - at a combined cost of just under £100m.
